Rules

Eight rules

Short enough to read, specific enough to be worth reading. They exist to keep the island worth logging into, not to catch you out.

  1. Do not cheat

No hacked clients, X-ray, macros, auto-clickers or anything that plays for you. Minimaps and performance mods are fine. If you are unsure about a mod, ask before you use it — asking has never got anyone banned.

  2. Do not use a dupe. Report it.

Every duplication exploit gets found eventually, and every item it made gets rolled back. Reporting one is rewarded. Using one quietly and hoping is how accounts get removed along with the items.

  3. One person, one account

Alt accounts to farm votes, claim kits twice, win your own duels or inflate island counts are all the same offence. Family sharing a house is fine — tell staff first so it does not look like what it is not.

  4. Do not grief or steal

Being trusted on someone's island is not permission to empty it. Everything is logged, block by block, with a timestamp and a name, so this is a question of what happened rather than who is believed.

  5. Do not scam

Trades are final and staff will not reverse a bad deal — but a deal you never intended to honour is not a bad deal, it is theft, and it is treated as theft. Use the auction house for anything you would be sad to lose.

  6. Keep chat usable

No slurs, harassment, sexual content, or advertising other servers. Disagreements are fine. Making the channel unpleasant for everyone else to read is not. English in global chat so staff can moderate it; any language you like in DMs and island chat.

  7. Do not deliberately lag the server

Enormous mob farms, hopper walls and redstone clocks affect everyone on the island, not just you. Stack limits and hopper caps exist for this. If staff ask you to trim something, that is the warning.

  8. Do not impersonate staff

Staff never ask for your password, never ask you to log in anywhere, and never DM you about a purchase. Anyone doing those things is not staff, whatever their nickname says.

These rules apply everywhere the server does — in game, on the Discord, and on anything connected to your account. A ban covers all of it.

Consequences

What actually happens

There is no fixed tariff, because a first-time slip and a deliberate campaign are not the same thing. In rough order: a word from staff, a mute, a temporary ban, a permanent one. Cheating, duping and scamming skip the early steps.

Anything gained by breaking a rule is removed, whether or not you are banned, and whether or not it has since been traded on. That is the part people are most often surprised by: buying duped items from someone else does not make them yours to keep.

A ban does not refund a rank. Ranks are cosmetic purchases attached to an account, and an account that is banned keeps the rank it can no longer use. Charging back a purchase after a ban does not reverse the ban and does close the door on ever appealing it.

Appeals

If you think we got it wrong

Appeal on the Discord. Say what happened, when, and what you think the mistake was. One appeal, then wait — staff read every one, and appealing four times does not move you up the queue.

Appeals are read by someone who was not involved in the original decision. Anti-cheat flags are evidence, not verdicts: false positives happen, particularly to anyone on a bad connection, and that is exactly what an appeal is for.
